Journal of Approximate Reasoning (JAR)

Aims and Scope

We are pleased to announce the launching of our new journal "Journal of Approximate reasoning (JAR)" which is a peer-reviewed international journal that will publish original research devoted to mathematics and computer science. This journal will be rich in terms of diversity of topics. Papers that address any issue related to the following category are welcomed. Some of key areas of focus are:

Fuzzy set theory, Fuzzy mathematics, Fuzzy systems, Artificial intelligence, computational Intelligent, automata theory, rough sets, Mathematical Linguistics, Genetic Algorithms and Modeling, qualitative reasoning about uncertainty Fuzzy Logic and Approximate Reasoning, Artificial Neural Networks, Discrete mathematics, Learning and Evolutionary Computing, Learning and Evolutionary Computing, Data Engineering, Data Fusion, Information and Knowledge, Chaos theory and chaotic systems, Discrete Event Systems, Symbolic / Numeric and Statistical Techniques, Perceptions and Pattern Recognition, Design of Algorithms, Software Design, Computer Systems and Architecture Evaluations and Tools, Human-Computer Interface, Computer Communication Networks and Modeling and Computing with Words, etc.

It is regular journal and will be published quaterly from 2009. There will be no page charge for publication of papers but if reprinting is asked, then reprint bill will be send at the prescribed rate.

Only original papers will be considered. Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the same work has not been and will not be and is not being currently submitted elsewhere. Submission for publication must have been approved by all of the authors and by the institution where the work was carried out. Further, that any person cited as a source of personal communications must have approved such citation. Written authorization may be required at the Editor's discretion. Articles and any other material published in JAR represent the opinions of the author(s) and should not be construed as reflecting the opinions of the Editor.
